Boundary Survey
A boundary survey will give you a clear picture of your property. It helps you establish or re-establish the boundaries of your property using a legal description. Our experts will locate your property corners to clearly define your property lines.A boundary survey also determines the dimensions, size, and location of your home and any other improvements on your property, such as sheds, fences, and driveways. We'll also highlight the location of any bodies of water on your land, if applicable.
ALTA Survey
Generally known as an ALTA Survey, the ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey is usually used on commercial or multi-family properties. It is completed based on the Minimum Standards Detail Requirements set by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
The Minimum Standards Detail Requirements set out the specific details that are required on ALTA Surveys. A thorough Title Commitment review is done to ensure that anything recorded that may affect the property is included on the survey. There are also a set of optional “Table A” items that can also be requested to be on ALTA Surveys.

Construction
First Choice Surveying specializes in mortgage surveys. We offer limited new construction surveying services for properties where we have previously completed the boundary survey. We cannot accept new construction projects for properties where First Choice Surveying has not previously completed the boundary work. See our order request form for how we can assist you.

How long will it take to complete my survey?
The time it will take to complete a survey depends on the size and complexity of the survey. We always do everything we can to complete your survey in a timely manner. When we provide a quote, we will always let you know how long it will take to complete and order confirmations with the estimated delivery date are always sent when you place an order.
